Food Pairings for Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough
Mellow, lemon pear flavor on the palate without much acidity showing. Very subdued, with a quiet but persistent finish.
Water like color to the pour. Very light and crisp. Hints of slight citrus hide behind a very mineral-like aroma. Taste of fine minerals that dissipate with time and turn more into a fruity, citrus phase, finally ending with a dry, satisfying finish. Excellent Sauvignon Blanc at this price range. I would highly recommend trying it.
The nose showed chalky minerals, grapefruit, stone, cat pee and citrus. On the palate, I found sweet apple fruit with mineral, citrus and herbs. The acid balance of this wine was very stern, at first, but opened up nicely over the course of an hour. The finish was long and mouth-watering with grapefruit and lemon pith lingering for half a minute.

External Reviews for Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough
Shows some sweaty notes, but also plenty of zippy, peppery fruit backed by ripe melon flavors. It's surprisingly weighty for an entry-level bottling, its slightly oily texture offset by a tangy finish.
Crisp and lively, a juicy mouthful of citrus, melon and passion fruit flavors at a moderate level of intensity, finishing with polish. Drink now.
Tight and racy, with a striking acidity carrying lime zest, an aromatic peach component, and wet stone minerality. Would work well as an aperitif, whetting the appetite for the coming meal, or with a tart, citrus-dressed salad.
Filled with bright, fresh fruit, this is an easy-drinking introduction to NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Ripe passion fruit and pineapple flavors carry a hint of sweetness, balanced by tangy acids and an herbal note on the finish.
Juicy and refreshing, with grapefruit, and melon flavors, that remain zingy through the tart finish. Drink now.
Tangy, citrusy, pleasant style, finishing tart. Drink now.
The '04s are here! Break out the Sensodyne for this grapefruity, explosive New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Juicy, thirst-quenching flavors of lime and passion fruit in a lively, citrus-focused frame.
In this wine, green olives and herbaceous aromas with underlying fennel notes dominate the nose. The palate is flavoursome showing a rich concentration of pure Marlborough Sauvignon characters. The fresh capsicum notes are complemented by an oily texture and tantalising minerality, held together by a crisp acidity that leads to a lingering finish.
