Brancott Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Winemaker's Notes:

"Pale straw-yellow. Pungent aromas of grapefruit pith, lime zest and tarragon, with hints of tropical fruits. Fat and dry, showing good cut and intensity along with a hint of youthful reduction; conveys a slightly dusty texture owing to the unabsorbed CO2. Finishes lightly saline and persistent, with a bit of lemony tartness." *-Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar*

Grassy and herbal immediately in the nose, this also has a touch of petrol and then some lime, lemon and melon coming through as well. In the mouth this is zesty and lively, with a bit of effervescence, some white pepper, classic herbal green pepper and lemon notes, some dill and even a tropical fruit note. Very characterful and classic for Marlborough, easy to drink and enjoyable. 89 pts
