91 points David Schildknecht (Wine Advocate): [$55 list] The Boxler 2007 Riesling Sommerberg already smells mouth-watering in its diverse citrus and marine mineral way. Lemon, grapefruit, and saline mineral elements inform a bright, penetrating, refreshing, and saliva-inducing palate to which alkaline and fruit pit bitterness add finishing interest by their discretion. This has the focus, energy, and extract to merit ten or a dozen years' cellaring, although it has been my impression that Boxler Rieslings from the past dozen or so vintages are maturing more rapidly than did those of the 80s and early 90s.
