Wine Tasting NotesKotsifali is the primary red variety of central Crete, Greece, and is recognized for producing ageable wines with full body, modest tannin, and crisp acidity. Mandilaria is a well known red variety in the southern Aegean Sea region. Wines containing Mandilaria are known to have deep red color, lighter body, and great aging potential. Deep purple. Intense aroma of red fruits, cinnamon, clove, honey, cocoa, smoke, dry nuts and fine oak barrel. Good structure, fatty, well-balanced and full-bodied with a long aromatic aftertaste and intense presence of wood.
