A slight bramble berry and cough medicine nose with a creamy, smooth, soft, and mildly tannic entry, this Naoussa is ready for drinking. Some herbal bitters on the finish but well balanced otherwise. A very good wine for the price. Try with lamb souvlaki. 88 points.

Color: Deep red with brick tints.Aroma: Red fruit with hints of green olive, tomato juice, and cooking spices.Taste: Very balanced on the palate due to the unique characteristics of the Xinomavro grape making this an excellent wine to pair with food. - Winery

Winemaker's Notes:

90 points Wine Spectator: This supple, complex and enticingly ripe red features a mix of citrus, spice, smoke, dried berry and cherry tart flavors. The long finish shows sandalwood notes, with hints of mincemeat and touches of cream. Ends on a briary note. Xinomavro. Drink now through 2018. 300 cases imported. (2012)
