Bourgogne Pinot Noir Maison Champy 2009

Member Review by Matthijs Visser:

Ruby, leaning toward garnet color. Red cherry, strawberry, and earthy notes on the nose. Similar notes on the palate: cherry, strawberry, and earthy/peppery notes. Characteristic high acidity and low tannins. Very good Bourgogne AC.

Pinot Noir can be one of the most accessible grapes when treated properly. This unoaked gem is a fine example with dark cherry-berries, light and easy going manner and finishing with subtle tannins. Great for every day enjoyment.
