Food Pairings for Bourgogne Blanc le Clos du Chateau Chateau de Puligny-Montrachet Bottle
Berry Bros & Rudd review: The wines of Ch. de Puligny-Montrachet have improved massively in quality since
Etienne de Montille took over. His 2007s have a fabulous concentration that
complements the characteristic vintage poise and purity. This is a great
Bourgogne Blanc and it's definitely in my top 5. It offers lots of citrus
fruit and has a slightly oily mouth feel, a medium to long finish and good
current drinking. However give it another 6 months and I think it will show its
true colours.
(Ben Upjohn - Cellar Plan Account Manager - Aug 2009)
