Bouchard Père et Fils Vosne-Romanée 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

The House of Bouchard, as winemaker, as well as _negociant_ and shipper, has long been well-represented here because of the house's tradition-based yet modern approach to Burgundy production. Wonderfully elegant aromas of raspberry and cherry fruit layered with floral notes complements the refined tannins that continue to the [very] end of the [long finish]. *Outstanding 1er Cru Volnay.*Edited from burghound.com

Medium red. Complex aromas of redcurrant raspberry leather truffle and smoky earth. Rich chewy and deep with captivating sweetness to the red fruit and spice flavors. Finishes with a kick of acidity a saline nuance and noteworthy rising length. With extended time in the recorked bottle this Volnay gained markedly in dusty spice character. 91+ Stephen Tanzers IWC.
