pale straw, apple pear and un-toasted oak with undernote of mushroom on nose. medium light body, medium finish. clean but not distinct. As an aside, 1/2 ounce of this wine spilled on my laptop screen killed the display--so it is strong stuff.

WS 90pts. - According to the Wine Spectator: A white with a sense of place. Acacia, lemon blossom, apple and mineral aromas and flavors abound, all matched to an elegant frame. This is balanced, lingering on the long, mineral-tinged aftertaste. Drink now through 2016. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 250 cases imported.

Utterly scintillating, this Genevrières has a marvellous perfumepreceeding the exciting, floral, mineral-rich palate. There is almost a note ofcherry blossom in the fragrant bouquet and the palate is filled with manylayers of flavour that swell and ebb across the tongue. This could not havebeen made any better.
