A Pinot Noir wine from Burgundy in France. 2009 Bouchard Pere et Fils Beaune Teurons 750ml

This is very ripe indeed even a bit jammy (but not Porto-like) with surprisingly good freshness given the elevated level of ripeness. The seductively-textured flavors possess excellent volume and are extremely rich before culminating in a suave and rather round finish that coats the mouth with firm tannins and plenty of buffering sap. This is riper than I personally prefer but there is no heaviness and solid balance. Burghound.
