Les Lavieres is a 1er Cru in Savigny-Les-Beaune that is known for its stonier soils that give it a great sense of terroir (place). This 2011 Bouchard Pere et Fils Savigny-Les-Beaune "Les Lavieres" has aromas of black cherry, minerals and smoke. Finishes with fine, elegant tannins and good length and ripe fruit.

The Company was founded in 1731 by a Michel Bouchard as a cloth merchant but his son Joseph took over in 1746 and started selling wine and buying vineyards.. It became a limited Company in 1929 and was bought by the Boisset family in 1993.
