Bouchard Finlayson Pinot Noir Walker Bay Tête de Cuvée Galpin Peak 2006
Experience has shown that the quality of the Galpin Peak Pinot Noir is directly proportional to the clay content of individual vineyard sites. For the 2006 vintage excellent quality grapes were picked over a 10 day period. This wine is deftly balanced, rich, dark-coloured with rich plum and pretty floral, fruity aromatics. It has luscious tannins which call one back into the glass - very appealing on the polished after taste!
We are a boutique winery nesteld in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, close to Hermanus in the Walker region, specialising in Pinot noir and Chardonnays. Our maritime climate and terroir lends itself to the superlative production of these wines. Also on offer is our Sauvignan blanc, a white blend called Blanc de Mer and a unique Italian, French red blend called Hannibal.
