Bosio Roero Arneis 2006

External Review by Premium Wine & Spirits:

Arneis is an extremely aromatic Italian white grape, grown mainly in Piedmont. In the past, it was blended with Nebbiolo to soften its taste and add aromas. On its own, it produces a delicate white wine reminiscent of almonds and white peaches; medium-bodied with loads of flavor.

The Arneis grape is both rare and difficult to grow. In fact the name, in Piedmont dialect, means difficult or complicated. Utterly unique and delicious, this light-bodied wine hints at lemons, almonds and the merest hint of fennel. Perfect with seafood or appetizers or just summer.
