The best sparkling Moscato ever
External Reviews for Bosio Moscato d'Asti
Moscato is a white grape variety responsible for the massive production of Italy's highly carbonated and often overly sweet spumante, but it is also used to make these delicately sweet and deliciously flavored sparkling wines from the town of Asti. The carbonation is soft and mild with a creamy, light texture; the taste is like biting into a ripe, juicy pear. With intense floral and grape aromatics, this is a fantastic wine to pair with a fruit or lemon tart.
Fun, fruity and perfect for summer. Sweet jasmine flower, white peach and honey characteristics, with a touch of sparkle. Great for parties, picnics or for sitting out on the front porch.
These delicious wines are always low in alcohol and high in flavor. Perfect with or as dessert, their peach, apricot, strawberry and honey flavors are held aloft by a slight effervescence, just a little less bubbly than Champagne. These bubbles carry the flavor on into the evening hours. Bosio's is a perfect example, fresh and exuberant, and much less expensive than the rest.
