Borthwick Vineyard Paper Road Pinot Gris Wairarapa New Zealand 2009

Member Review by vin0vin0:

Fairly big pinot gris from New Zealand. Fresh, crisp, minerally with creamy citrus flavors. There's acidity on the front end and a fairly long finish of dried apricot and honey. Great wine for the price.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
