What to Expect

Grenache is the main grape in many Rhone blends and most Cotes du Rhone and Chateaunuef-du-pape. It's a grape that yields soft, lightly colored yet full wines endowed with deep notes of strawberry and raspberry. 100% Garnacha Deep and sweet, Tres Picos Borsao is cherry red in color with a hint of purple tones. In the nose, there is a boundless bouquet of mature red fruits with traces of flowers that are typical of the best Garnachas. In the mouth, it is rich and well-structured, simultaneously conveying flavors of blackberries, strawberries and tones of leather, vanilla and plums. Perfectly combined with sweet and pleasant tannins, Tres Picos Borsao exhibits a long, silky and balanced finish.

Old-vine Garnacha shows brilliantly in this Tres Picos bottling. Red berries and cherries dance on the palate while earthy notes and balanced acidity keep the characteristic of the wine very interesting through the finish.

Puple tones. Red fruit. Strawberry, blackberry. Nice structure with good spice. Silkly finish with hints of leather and vanilla more than oak. Awesome wine to buy a case of. Parker =91

Bought and drank at Vino Paradiso with Trish and Mike. Reminded me of a Chateauneuf du Pape, with terroir being the first thing you think of when you smell and taste. A nice drinking grenache however, with ample fruit and smoothing tannins, and great QPR.
