RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
Food Pairings for Bonterra Vineyards Chardonnay Mendocino County
A well balanced Chardonnay with a pleasant nose and flavors of green apple with a bit of lemon. All my guests seem to like this wine, and I like having a screw cap instead of a cork in case I end up with a half a bottle after dinner. Good value.

A pure fruit bomb of Fuji apple and fresh lemons, with appealing flavors that deftly balance crisp and creamy. A real quaffer. Drink now.
Forward green apple, lemon-citrus and crème brûlée aromas precede bright, fully realized flavors of cinnamon-apple, ripe pear and toasty-oak vanilla. Creamy texture and finely balanced acidity add weight and lingering freshness to the palate. Fish and chicken are prime pairings, with herbed pork loin and salmon in almost every style a good match for the more venturesome.
Clean and flinty, with fresh, spicy lime, green apple and honeydew melon nuances. Drink now.
This organically-grown Chardonnay benefits from the hospitable climate of Mendocino County in the development of perfectly ripe, flavorful grapes. Barrel aging in hand-crafted French and American oak accentuates the distinctive apple-citrus flavors in this elegant Chardonnay.
Rich and oaky, with mouthwatering acidity, this Chardonnay offers tiers of ripe pineapple, green apple, honey, vanilla and cinnamon flavors. It's an easy sipper that offers lots of value for the price.
Our organic fruit from Mendocino offers the characteristic flavors of green and baked apples, pear, and citrus to our chardonnay. We age most of the wine with neutral oak in order for these fruit characteristics to shine through. We add just a little new oak to give the wine a touch of vanilla. An initial impression of rich, buttery cream turns to aromas of honey and toasted almonds, quickly followed by pineapple, lemon and crème brulee. This wine has a refreshing, bright, clean minerality with a vibrant tartness and lemon zest that is distinctly Bonterra Chardonnay.
