The 2006 is Bonny Doon's self-proclaimed best dessert wine: "possibly the best thing we have done, period, full stop." Le Vol des Agnes (The Angels' Flight) is a sweet wine made from the prominent white cepages typicially found in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. In 2006, Bonny Doon was favored with prodigious levels of botrytis on the Roussanne grapes of the Beeswax Vineyard. Rich, fragrant and honeyed, it displays ethereal suggestions of quince and Asian pear.
