Exceptional value. Dry riesling, pale straw in color, with citrus and herb aromas. On the palate, apples, grapefruit, and a touch of mint. Nice finish. Juicy, 12% alch.

The wine is crisp, dry and lush with flavors of citrus, jasmine and minerals. This Dry Riesling is a superb accompaniment to a wide variety of seafood, cheeses and cold meats. A blend of 20% German Riesling wine, selected by our dear friend Johannes Selbach in the famous Mosel region, and 80% of our Washington state Riesling. The German Riesling lends great depth and acidity as well as low alcohol. No oak and no malolactic on this wine - it's as pure and unmanipulated as it gets.
This Riesling was clearly made with assertively spiced food in mind. Lots of soft, tropical fruit flavors lead to a clean, dry finish.
Wine Tasting NotesIt is my pleasure to announce that there is at least one thing in life that appears to be improving with time and that is our comprehension of the riesling grape. Our Pac Rim is a bit of a breakthrough. Firstly, we have allowed just the teensiest bit of residual sugar to repose in the finished wine — "letting love in," as it were, in the parlance of my twin-brother-separated-at-birth, Terry Theise. We contrived to boost the acid a little bit, picking the grapes a little earlier and the result is a fresher, more vibrant wine with greater retention of primary fruit. And as an added bonus and at no extra charge, the wine actually seems to work far better with sushi and other umami-intensive cuisine than Pac Rims pasado. Very distinctive green apple and elder-blossom Mosel nose. If weve not gotten through to you by now, now this is the time.
