Winemaker's Notes:

Our Muscat is a musky, melodious, melon-like mediation on minerality. Powerfully aromatic, with a bracingly clean acidity, the wine is just slightly off-dry. It should once and for all induce those fearing the bogeyman of residual sweetness to put their apprehensions aside. Though far more than guilty pleasures, well-made, highly aromatic wines that tip in around 1% RS do seem to immediately stimulate the organoleptic pleasure centers of the brain and provide great satisfaction all on their lonesome. Happily, just below the initial waft of jasmine and musk melon resides a host of spice, botanical and stony notes to color and filigree the muscat perfume. The combination of all these elements – the perfume, the very modest sweetness, the botanical notes – yields a superb complement to piquant, highly seasoned cuisine. So while brilliant as an aperitif, this muscat will never fear to tread where chili peppers, ginger, cumin, curry leaf or cardamom lie.
