Mainly Carignane, Petite Sirah and Sangiovese. It's really good, and proves that Randall Grahm continues to march to his own beat. Not for him lush, ripe fruit, but leanness, acidity, elegance, structure and what you might call style. How Bonny Doon sells

Winemaker's Notes:

Our Muscat is a musky, melodious, melon-like mediation on minerality. Powerfully aromatic, with a bracingly clean acidity, the wine is just off-dry and should induce those fearing the bogeyman of residual sweetness to table their apprehensions. Below the initial waft of jasmine resides a host of spice, botanical and stony notes to color and filigree the perfume. The combination of all these elements – the perfume, modest sweetness and botanical notes – yields a superb complement to piquant cuisine. So while brilliant as an aperitif, this muscat will never fear to tread where chili peppers, ginger, curry leaf or cardamom lie.
