Food Pairings for Bonny Doon Vineyard Madiran Heart of Darkness
Although this is mostly Tannat with a bit of Cab Franc thrown in, this tastes like a hearty Syrah or a Petit Syrah. Its very spicy and peppery on the nose. The first taste is very intese but mellows as it breaths. The finish is jammy and pleasantly lingers. I think this would be awesome with barbeque chicken or pork.
