Very, very good. Dark purpley-red in color. Aromas are alcoholic at first, and there is a strong grip of tannins. Open for 1 hour before serving. Tannins and plummy fruit integrate after that. ARomas of plums and roses, with plum and spice on the palate. Nice smooth finish after this wine opens. Had with spaghetti carbonara.
