I might be embarrassed to admit this later, but this is the wine that we buy by the case. Not to savor over meals, but to open when I just want a drink. Or need a splash for cooking. Or need a last minute bottle to take to a party where I know good wine won't be enjoyed. Big House Red is a steady date, always reliable when you want it.
