Unfortunately, many people put this wine in the database without any vintage information. I rated the 2009 vintage of this wine. A great bargain wine at under $10. This is a clear, medium(-) intensity, ruby colored wine that has legs. It has a clean, developing nose of red cherry and raspberry. It has medium acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, and medium body. It has medium intense flavors of red cherry, raspberry and oak with a medium length finish. It is a good, low priced wine that will improve in the bottle.

This is a really nice inexpensive smooth red wine. Excellent for those everyday Italian meals. Would recommend highly!

Winemaker's Notes:

Wine Tasting Notes Intense red with violet reflections. Intense and complex, with lots of cherry and earthy aromas. Soft, round palate with flavors of fresh berries and some spices. With its well-rounded acidity and mild tannins, Bonizio is extrememly versatile and pairs with a wide range of fowl, meat and pasta dishes. Great with barbeques.
