- ($150) Good red-ruby color. Aromas of wild black raspberry, chocolate, graphite and sexy, smoky oak. Tightly wound and perhaps less dense than the '99, but riper than the 2000 Melbury. Flavors of currant, minerals and truffle. Finishes with big, youthfully aggressive tannins and very good length.
