Bonaccorsi Pinot Noir Santa Barbara County J.L Bonaccorsi 2014

Winemaker's Notes:

WHWC Staff Notes: The new release of Bonaccorsi's entry-level Pinot Noir offers everything that fans of previous vintages have come to expect from this over-acheiver. Reviews have yet to emerge, but we're confident that this wine will measure up brilliantly to its 92-point, 2013 predecessor. Bright red fruit aromas are complimented by slight hints of forest floor and mushrooms. Make no mistake, however. This is a racy, elegant, high-toned gem. The palate once again displays very fine grained tannins, along with vibrant acidity. It treads a fine line towards a village Chambolle profile, but quickly veers back squarely into the cool climate, California character that we've all come to know and love from this wine. Once again, it's going to be a crowd favorite. Not yet reviewed; 2013 vintage rated 92 points by Jeb Dunnuck (Wine Advocate).
