The champagne of James Bond (the movie version) never disappoints. Full bodied, generous, with gorgeous mousse. Works with food or canapés. It's the BMW of champagne - reliable, sexy, luxurious with perfection in the detail.
Limes, lemon and ginger on the nose. Very acidic attack, with a powerful mousse of bubbles. Nice quince flavors with a clean soft biscuit note. Soft finish on gentle sugars which give it honeysuckle hint. Tasted at Tengley Oaks. 1 million magnums of this are in the cellars, some of this wine is barrel aged, which is rare for a Champagne of this level. 60% pinot noir lends acidity to this big, bold chamapagne.
Champagne as good as it gets. Bond. James Bond loves it too. And so far it's the best thing I ever tasted. Looks like Gold and is rather affordable. My best friend has a 2000 vintage waiting for a special day to celebrate life and live it. Long Finish

Yum. Yum. Why does he champagne style I prefer. Full-bodied, yeasty and toasty and screaming of baked lemon goods. I much prefer this to the lighter, more floral Champagnes out there.

Always a rich non-vintage, this latest bottling doesn't disappoint expectations. It has a rich, biscuity character, hints of toast along with pure citrus and fresh apricots. It is ripe, generous, to be drunk with food.
This brisk and savory wine has the smooth creaminess of lemon curd lightened by lime zest and white flowers. It feels rich rather then weighty, the bubbles lifting the flavors like a mist rising off limestone. Delicious with anything saline, whether cherrystones or Kumamotos.
A great house; incredible bang-for-the-buck; pinot driven, with great yeasty notes; sweet poached apples and toffee accented by crisp acidity; elegant, rich and complex.

To ensure the consistency and continuity of the style Bollinger adds to the blend a maximum of 10% of Reserve wines which have been kept in magnum. The blend consists on average of 60% pinot noir 25% chardonnay and 15% pinot meunier harvested from 30 different villages in Champagne. Special Cuvee matures for a minimum of three years in Bollinger's cellars prior to release.
