If you're looking for a simple, crisp Italian white wine with delicate but definitive fruit flavor, Bolla Soave dose it better than most. It's not reaching for sweetness or a contemporary international style. Instead it's an honest, delightfully Veronese white. The same could be said for its red sibling, Bolla Bardolino. In recent years, the firm has made an effort to lighten the style of their Bardolino to return to the classic mode of this regional red and create a recognizable difference from their Valpolicella. The new Bardolino is light, peppery and clean, much better than a beer with a slice of pizza or a simple pasta dinner.

Winemaker's Notes:

Clean, fresh and lemony, almost like a white wine in its easy lightness. This is a good choice for people who prefer to sip reds instead of whites on a hot day at the beach.
