Boitano Family Wines Zinfandel California Shenandoah Valley Late Harvest Old Vine 2004

Member Review by StukNlodi:

Port style but not heavy syrup. Heady. Chewy. At this tasting the price was $28. I might go back and get this when I finish my other ports. (Can't hang on to ports very long, they turn to Sherry)

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.
