Bogle Vineyards Zinfandel Old Vines 2007

Has a pleasant smoothness even though it has a full bodied taste. I definitely tasted the black cherry and dark berry; it has a jammy taste that I would expect from a Zin. The spice was nice and I tasted a hint of acai berry as well. Goes well with a variety of foods and tastes great by itself! For the price, I really enjoyed this bottle; I would keep this on hand for casual encounters with friends on the fly. Has a bold flavor, yet is very approachable, making it great for guests that enjoy wine but are inexperienced.

Nice color. Red berry on the nose. Cinnamon spice with short finish, but it was there. Will drink it again.

Nothing notable, but is fine as an every day drinkable. Don't buy this amongst friends.
