Created in a classic style, Bogle?s Sauvignon Blanc was cold fermented in 100% stainless steel tanks, using reductive winemaking practices, to maintain its varietal character: crisp, vibrant and refreshing. Notes of tropical gooseberry are paired

The cool coastal breezes of the Russian River appellation produce some of the most widely acclaimed Pinot Noir grapes. Bogle winemakers worked with long-time growers in this region to create this year

Lively citrus zest and lemongrass notes color the nose, while the clean and and refreshing flavors of key lime and freshly cut grass are intensely aromatic. The mouthfeel, bracing with acidity, remains laced with touches of softer, enticing fruit. Finishing crisp and satisfying, this wine makes your mouth water for more! - WineryWINE pH: 3.30WINE ACIDITY: 0.68g/100mlALCOHOL: 13.5%

This wine is a light to medium bodied Pinot Noir with bright violet and cherry notes that are followed by subtle cocoa and toasty oak notes. The finish has a bit of structure to it with aromas of earth and pomegranate. Bogle's Website

The first impression recalls a sun-dappled forest clearing, scattered with sweet wild strawberries and rustic mint. These hints of pine, bright berry and fresh herbs follow on the well-balanced palate, surrounded by soft suggestions of tea leaves and violets. Toasty vanilla winds itself throughout, wrapping around the finish: long, silky and elegant.

Crushed violets and strawberries permeate the nose of this wine, while touches of green tea and dried spices hint at flavors to come. The mouthfeel, sleek and sophisticated, resonates with Rainier cherries, aromatic leather and a touch of tobacco. French and American oak makes quite an impression, leaving a perfectly balanced finish with spicy, yet refined tannins. - WineryVINEYARD SOURCES:Russian River ValleyMontereyClarksburgBARREL PROGRAM: 10 months in American and French oakWINE pH: 3.60WINE ACIDITY: 0.55g/ 100mlALCOHOL: 13.5 %

Winemaker's Notes:

Vibrant and fresh…the 2011 Sauvignon Blanc is easy to enjoy. Bogle winemakers use reductive winemaking techniques and cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks to create a classically-styled wine which captivates the true varietal essence of the grape. Bogle’s Sauvignon Blanc is a great accompaniment to a wide range of appetizers and light dishes, especially fish and shellfish, spring greens, goat cheese and fruit salsas.
