My rating 88: for the 2010 Merlot. Firm body with good balance. Nose is well balanced. No hint of oak what is actually nice. Price at BJ's $ 7.99 Re tasted this wine very nice increased rating to 88
It's a Bogle, so you know it's solid.
I honestly remember this tasting significantly better... I guess that says most of it. The nose is spectacular, if only you didn't have to drink it. The taste is overpowering and the tannins are right there with it. This is not a repeat wine for me.
First glass 20 minutes in the glass. Very Tart & dry. Second glass with vacuseal just as tart. Third glass with cork slightly better. Won't buy again.
