Bogle Vineyards Chardonnay California 2010
Not your typical chardonnay. Drinks more like a Sauvignon Blanc or a Pinot Gris. Tropical fruit, pear, and a grassy nose. First sips have notes of citrus that transitions into a more typical chardonnay butteriness. Finish is long and crisp. Great balance in acidity and a steal for the price.Add winemaker's notes

Yes of course, this has lots of oak and butter on the nose and the malolactic fermentation is subtle. A bit crisp on entry, which makes if up for the butteriness.
Bright straw hue, fresh aromas of cut apples and ripe pear; flavor notes of sharp green apples, pear and lemon mingle with a refreshing acidity across a creamy palate. Nice summer value.
Deceptively complex, tight and vibrant, with a slow rise of citrus-laced ... Drink now through 2014. -JL
A great chard for the money.
An oaky nose with aromas of green apple and other bright fruits. Starts off citrusy, and has notes of juicy apple and pear, along with oak. Crisp. A great Chardonnay for the price.
Good everyday wine.

Barrel fermentation, sur lie aging and partial malolactic fermentation have created a rich, elegant wine with layers of complexity. The soft and inviting aromas suggest an apple pie right out of the oven, cooling on the kitchen table. A delicately creamy entry gives way to fresh flavors of apple and pear. Spicy oak integrates with the intense fruit, delivering a long, lingering finish.
