Bogle Vineyards Chardonnay California 2009
Classic Clarksburg personality shines through in the green apple and pear notes, while a bit more tropical pineapple breezes by. The rich mouthfeel created by aging on the lees abounds mid-palate, while the finish is wrapped in creamy textures and tones from the malolactic fermentation. Spicy American oak notes of butterscotch and vanilla are the perfect balance to the freshness and acidity of the multifaceted wine. Enjoy this wine with just about everything!
Straw bright, aromas of baked apple, tropical fruits and butterscotch; flavor notes of caramel apples, pears and sweet woods, balanced, but not distinctive.
I'm not a big chardonnay fan but I really enjoyed this wine. Crisp, slightly sweet and easy drinking.
Kathy and Gerry had this over the 4th of July 2011.

Intense and vibrant in a full-bodied style, with lively pear, citrus, green apple and melon flavors. Ends with a pithy grapefruit peel edge that's complex. Drink now through 2010.
Represents a very nice value in a refreshing, balanced Chardonnay. The wine, which was aged in lots of new American oak and stirred on the lees, is rich and creamy, with citrus, mineral and yeasty flavors that are brightened by crisp acidity.
