excellent beginning. Blueberry Jam. weak finish. phantom means the finish disappears. still a tasty rich wine that goes great with steak.

Semi-full bodied, pleasing to the palate. I thought I loved their Petite Syrah, but this was even better. It was an ideal wine to have with a Thanksgiving feast. I couldn't get enough.

It's back. The blend of black magic from Bogle winemakers. Three unique varietals combine lush berry and fierce spice into a full-bodied wine. My last bottle (of 20). This is one of the last vintages I enjoyed, Nice dark cherry and blackberry on the nose. The color is super dark crimson. The palate reveals some great dark red fruits, mostly cherries. The tannins have resolved and there is great mouthfeel. There is nice vanilla oak notes but the acid level seems a bit out of whack. You really get the sense of the PS on the front, and the finish is all Zin. It shows the same disjointed acid that never really just seems right. There is a hint of heat the the finish as well. It comes on slowly though. Decent but not wishing I had more.
