Food Pairings for Bogle Petite Sirah California
Interesting mouthfeel. Medium bodied. Big hit of fruit--blueberries, currants, maybe some fig--on the initial entry to the palate. Not a lot of tannin here. This is, obviously, a pop-n-pour kinda wine. It's pretty easy to drink, but it could use some backbone--be that from tannin or acid.
This is a bold wine bursting with flavor! It has a beautiful very dark purple color with a moderately developed nose of cherries, dark red berries a hint of pepper and a distinct mineral/rock aroma. The aromas are carried over into the palate with added flavors of leather and some musk and a very long and smooth finish. The strong tannins in the wine further develops into a wonderfully chewy character that really gives it character and lingers in your mouth. This wine is well balanced and bold. Definitely an excellent choice with steak or beef alike!

Offers appealing and chewy notes of blackberry and blueberry, with touches of floral, spice and pepper. Drink now through 2020.
Going beyond the simple grapiness of most entry-level petites, this delivers savory tones of clove and dried herbs that make its posh, purple fruit feel appetizing and complete. Its grippy tannins would play best with flank steak.
Deeply inky, this wine coats the glass and lingers before the first sip has been taken. Heady aromas of boysenberries and blackberries headline the entry, while flavors of wild blueberries steal the show. Full-bodied and concentrated, seductive juniper and anise tangle with coffee and leather tones as the wine's finish lingers on stage. Enduring and enthralling, this wine is perfectly suited for an encore. - Winery

Ripe summer blackberries and plums overwhelm both the nose and palate of this wine. Its trademark inky, jammy qualities are a barrage of black fruit and spice, adding layer upon layer of complexity. Notes of supple leather and toasty oak envelop the flavors through the finish, giving way to wisps of caramel and vanilla. The firm tannins make this a wine that can develop for years to come, but you won't want to wait that long to enjoy it!
This Petit Sirah has typical notes of boysenberry with touches of black pepper and herbs. The palate is inky and jammy with ripe fruit and berries, and finishes with toasty oak and firm tannins.
