Simple, medium bodied, not much to it. Not bad, but very forgettable cabernet and I would chose a bunch of others over this one at this price point. Bogle makes a nice Petite Sirah and Sauv. Blanc but in my opinion this one & the rest of their varietals are nothing special. Not recommended.

Black cherry, cassia and blackberry fruit notes meld seamlessly with notions of anise, black pepper and vanilla spice. Beautifully done - Bravo! 92pts.

Dark cherry fruit and plum with touches of herbal tea and leather and notes of tobacco leaf.

Cabernet Sauvignon is a grape that takes its own sweet time, slowly lingering to ripen on the vine. We are rewarded by its reluctance. Ripe cherries and vivid plums create a welcome first impression, while touches of earth tones and leather nestle

Irresistible vanilla and intriguing black cherry lay way to the rich, supple wine that is the Cabernet Sauvignon. Wisps of tobacco smoke linger on the palate, reminiscent of grandfather's old pipe. Cinnamon, clove and nutmeg are left by the 14 months of aging in American oak. Ample tannins and an enduring finish will allow this wine to cellar for another 6-8 years, but don't let anyone say you can't enjoy it now!

Cabernet Sauvignon is a grape that takes its own sweet time, slowly lingering to ripen on the vine. We are rewarded by its reluctance.Bogle winemakers have crafted an expressive example of this classic varietal. Richly extracted cherry and cassis arrest the senses, holding captive on both the nose and the palate. Swiftly followed by black pepper and black olive, the supple mouthfeel fills out this full-bodied wine. Spicy American oak heightens the dense fruit, finishing with wisps of ground pepper and stellar tannins. Cellar for another 7-10 years, but don't let anyone say you can't enjoy it now... - Winery

Cabernet Sauvignon is a grape that takes its own sweet time, slowly lingering to ripen on the vine. We are rewarded by its reluctance. Ripe cherries and vivid plums create a welcome first impression, while touches of earth tones and leather nestle themselves among the fruit. Sixteen months in American barrels have produced wisps of tobacco leaf and notes of spicy cigar box. With well-integrated tannins and a rich and round finish, this wine will be a favorite for years to come.

Winemaker's Notes:

WINEMAKER NOTES Cabernet Sauvignon is a grape that takes its own sweet time, slowly lingering to ripen on the vine. We are rewarded by its reluctance. Unabashed cherry and rich plums get your attention, while touches of drying tobacco leaves evoke a memory you can’t quite pin down. Nutmeg, clove and touches of cedar shavings are left behind by fourteen months in American oak. The sturdy body of this wine is softened by chalky tannins that allow for a finish rich and round. Enjoy now, or cellar for another 5-6 years. SERVED BEST WITH This well-balanced red wine can be enjoyed with a variety of meat dishes, rich sauces or aged cheeses.
