What to Expect

Syrah: One of the few grapes to really be a global success. Syrah combines a meaty core of ripe berry fruit with tones that range from herbal to peppery in a package that tends to be medium bodied with good acidity and softer tannins. With age the wines can gain lovely leathery and black olive notes that make them a great match for savory and gamy dishes.

Syrah 55%, Grenache Noir 20%, Cabernet Sauvignon 16%, Cinsault 5%, Viognier 4%. Production just 586 barrels. 14.5% Alcohol.
Served slightly chilled in the warmth of South Africa I also chilled it briefly back in a, significantly cooler, UK to the wines benefit.

Just beautiful, and should only improve with time.

Very nice wine - full of great fruit, with a beautiful silky mouthfeel and a solid finish.

Starts out with delicate lilac and cardamon spice on the nose. Fantastic rich smooth mid palate with wonderful mouthfeel. Very integrated and balanced.
