What to Expect

Chardonnay is America's most popular grape and with good reason. Made in styles that range from steely, mineral laced wines with crisp green apple fruit to wines that are buttery, rich, and laden with tropical fruits, there is a Chardonnay that will appeal to every palate. Chardonnay is most closely associated with France's Burgundy region and California's Northern valleys though it has proven successful around the globe.

Winemakers Notes

Stainless steel fermented and optimally fruit-driven, SCW is fresh, clean, medium-bodied with flavors of nectarine, pear, mineral, and a hint of smoke.

Reviews

Very lightly oaked, the wine's fairly mineral and crisp. There are some nice soft fruit notes that make it pleasant and very approachable.

Bronze Medal Winner, 2008 New York Wine amp; Food Classic100 ChardonnayFlavors of crisp citrus, nectarine, apple, vanilla, mineral and a hint of smokiness, not at all heavy or oaky. Enjoy it for picnicking, dancing, chatting or just having.

Urban wineries are hot. BOE delivers with their 'Brooklundian' style North Fork Chard. Sensibly balanced fruit and acidity and a little richness from lees aging and a brief spell in new french oak.
