Bodegas Vitivinos Azua Bobal Roble 2010
Azua Bobal Roble is elaborated with the best Bobal grapes from La Manchuela. The Bobal grapes are harvested in October at the optimum point of ripeness. Vatting, maceration, and fermentation of the must is performed under controlled temperatures of 24ºC to 26ºC for a period of ten days. When the malolatic fermentation is finished, the wine is stored for three months in oak barrels.

The sunny climes of Manchuela have left their mark: the wine has a slightly overripe note of red raisins, even figs, as well as dried spice notes that linger. The wine is plump, maybe even fat, but that’s the fun of it; chocolate notes abound with cinnamon, vanilla, allspice, cherry skins and raisins.
