Bodegas Terras de Lantano Albarino Vina Cartin Rias Baixas NV

Winemaker's Notes:

Bodegas Terras de Lantaño was launched by Ramiro Martinez Señorans, a successful Galician business man who made a fortune in the meat transformation industry. His house had a small plot of old planted vines and he traditionally made wine out of those for his personal consumption. As many of his friends and relatives knew his passion for wine and really appreciated his winemaking talent, he decided to expand production and make a winery in 2005. He now has 9 ha in property and plans to increase the number of bottles produced within the next few years until reaching 30.000 cases a year. Goes well as an appetizer and with sea food. Should be served chilled (6°C to 8°C)

Do yourself a favor and try this under appreciated Albarinho wine from Galicia. It is one of the best Galician whites at this price level. Has had a higher rating than Terras Gaudas at half the price.
