Bodegas Taron Tempranillo Rioja 2010
Member Review by duncan 906:
I bought this bottle of wine at an event in London called 'Tapas Fantasticas'.It is from the Rioja Alta in Northern Spain and made from the Tempranillo grape, the major grape of the Rioja region, and has only been very lightly oaked The Taron winery is family owned and at 600metres above sea level is the highest in the Rioja.I drank my bottle at the weekend as an accompaniment to a pasta dish .There was a lot of fruit there although it was not particularly soft subtle or delicate.Perhaps it could have done with more time in oak or in the bottle but I still enjoyed it
