Thirty-year-old vines grown at over 3,500 feet made this wine a velvet beauty. Unlike Salentein's malbec and shiraz, this tastes very stylized, its sleek fruit smoothed further by a gloss of oak. Yet the oak never covers cabernet's cassis and pepper flavors, just expands, enriches. -Wines & Spirits Full-bodied wine, aged twelve months in new oak barrels Mixed aromas of pepper, red berry jam, dry mushrooms, coconut and vanilla. Intense red color and long aftertaste.
