Coming from a family of viticultores of the riverside place of Pedrosa of Duero, Burgos, Carmelo RODERO belongs to the fourth viticultores generation. Your great-grandfathers elaborated the wine in the classics and old presses, until Cooperative Vinícola of Pedrosa of Duero was founded, of which your grandparents were founders.
Continuing with this trajectory Carmelo RODERO began cultivating the vineyards belonging to your family during some years, but you take you decided to detach of this, and with 50 hectares of vineyard, you began selling your grapes to the mythical Wine Cellar Vega Sicily during 14 years.
In 1990 you began your own term. You bet on the future and the quality knowing that the base of a great wine goes by some good grapes, for that that Wine Cellar RODERO is proud that from your first elaboration in 1991, all your wines have been rewarded in the fairs and you taste more important, so much national as international, serving as contrast and recognition of your quality.
Carmelo Rodero supported by your wife Elena will see continuous your venturesome share thanks to the incorporation of your daughters Beatriz and María very involved in the project. Beatriz, your bigger daughter, Graduate in agricultural (specialty in viticulture) Engineering and with studies superior of enology in Bordeaux. Read less
