Bodegas Riojanas, S.A. was founded in 1890 by several of Cenicero’s old familias who possessed a long-standing wine-making tradition and a large number of vineyards in the township. The propietors have been winegrowers, producers and exporters from the beginning, own the best vineyards in the region.
A bit of a sulfury nose. SUPER sweet! A bit of an artificial aftertaste. The kind of wine you definitely want to drink chilled to dull some of the tastes and aromas.
If you like Moscatos and sweet wines then definitely try this one. Vibrant gold color, ripe nectarines and bananas on the nose, as well as on the tongue. A nice hint of acidity with a sweet and buttery coating finish. Serve chilled and enjoy with some tea biscuits and puff pastries or by itself as a sweet treat.
