My Rating:90. A full bodied wine that lean with good fine tannin's and a complex aroma. Nose is long and quite complex. This wine is even good after one night in the fridge.
A mostly malbec blend (45% + 35% shiraz + 20 cabernet). Mostly rubbery tannin on the nose with a little cherry tartness. It tastes robust - smoky rubber tannins, sugary fruit, pomegranate, a little brandy. Flavorful, but average. The flavors don't blend well, but it gets better after a couple of days. I see someone has it here for $7, but I paid $12.
Well rounded, complex, pleasing to drink with a sharp cheese. Hints of licorice, peppery, very fresh. A great value for the price.
