Bodegas Muga is a celebrated winery in the Railway District in the town of Haro in Rioja, Spain. Moved to the present location in 1971 by the children of founder Isaac Muga Martinez, Muga Winery was been producing a variety of wines since its founding in 1932. Bodegas Muga currently is in control of one thousand acres of fertile wine growing land, and is one of the few wineries in the world that owns its own cooperage.
This was a really nice white: light, crisp, and fresh that reminds me of a kind of chardonnay without the oak punch or a warm viognier. Nice soft floral qualities on the nose.
