Bodegas Muga Barrel-Fermented Rioja Blanco 2015

Winemaker's Notes:

*90pts Robert Parker* Bodegas Muga vineyards are located on the foot of the Montes Obarenses, within the area called Rioja Alta. The site climate is exceptional due to, on the one hand, the singular geography and orientation of the vines and on the other hand, the surrounding climates -Mediterranian, Atlantic and Continental climates are combined harmoniously thus creating a suitable climatic site for growing grape. Straw yellow with golden hues. On the nose there are fruity aromas of peach, apple and pineapple as well as delicate hints of vanilla from the oak aging. On the palate it's lively and powerful with good structure. The creamy texture is perfectly balanced by the crisp acidity. Long and pleasant finish. Enjoy with full-flavoured fish dishes, such as Paella or turkey.
