This is a full on cherry/raspberry vanilla delight with sweet toasty wood framing notes. A touch soft on the palate with a little hole in the mid-palate but delivering very pleasant and typical red fruit, vanilla, and some damp oak notes on the palate. The tannins are a touch splintery on the backend and then this turns a but buttery, lactic on the finish, which shows pretty good length and some lingering sweetness that enhances the cherry fruit. Pretty typical and doing it well. 86pts

Very earthy and mellow. I was expecting much more oak than this so dark cassis with plenty of heat. this is a great pairing with rice and beans and anything else that you would have with that.

True garnet color. Almost a garrigue note in the aromas, with roasted herbs and spicy berries. High-toned red fruits and gorgeous acidity, as well as some dusty tannins. Long finish.

The 2006 Crianza (100% Tempranillo) offers up a nose of cedar, minerals, and red fruit. A bit lean on the palate but with pleasant flavors and decent balance, it will drink well through 2016.

Starts with appropriate earth, cherry and vanilla notes, which are followed by spicy cherry, cranberry and raspberry flavors. Shows red fruit in a more traditional style, while the finish is warm, a bit oaky, and ultimately quite fresh.

This supple red shows dark smoke, licorice and espresso flavors, with dried cherry and tobacco notes. This offers lively acidity, enough tannin for grip and a smoky finish. Drink now.

Tobacco and licorice notes are dark and alluring in this fleshy red, wrapped around a core of black cherry fruit. Balanced and fresh. Drink now through 2010.
